Oh my gosh. How long has it been!!! It feels to me like I haven’t posted in ages and quite frankly, I was starting to feel really nervous about it. A couple of days ago, I told you guys how we were about to embark on a crazy ride of a journey through the world and that with the arrival of fashion month, my posting would be less consistant than usual, but oh boy didn’t I expect such a busy time. In only 4 days, we spent more than 30 hours on the plane, from New York to Shanghai and back to New York with our inbox overloaded with hundreds of emails regarding fashion week planning.

Luckily, this season we have our new Kayteam member Fiona to come along and help us out in order to be as efficient as possible. There are so many things to take care of during fashion month, between shows, showrooms, meetings, making sure that all timing fits, events, hotels, flights, projects… The amount of management behind is pretty insane. Needless to say that James and I spend hours our nose glued to the computers even when we stay in incredible cities like Shanghai or New York… And so if the wi-fi isn’t working well, it’s a whole drama.

And that’s exactly what happened. Ever since we’re back in NYC I’ve been struggling to find good connection in order to upload new images on the blog. Since the files are really big, it was taking hours (up to 5hours sometimes…!…) to upload everything. I was literally about to throw my computer by the window but breathing in and out helps as well. Like I always said, a blogger with high speed wi-fi is a happy blogger. I don’t need much more than that :)

But here I am today, finally able to share some words with you!!! Really wanted to say how EXCITED I am for this new fashion month to begin! This year is going to be major as it’s the first time we’re doing London fashion week AND that we have another member of our Kayteam traveling with us. We have some very nice collaborations and projects coming up which I seriously can’t wait to tell you more about. And I can’t wait to meet all of you during this adventure and share some precious moments together.

But for now, I hope you guys will enjoy the images we shot on our arrival in Shanghai. We were invited there to attend Montblanc’s international event launch for their Bohemian woman’s jewelry and watches collection. It was so nice to stay in the same area as last time on the Bund and spend blissful mornings walking around while admiring this gorgeous view. In preparation of FW, I am taking out my most comfortable attire : this Iro top that I can’t get enough of, timeless blue jeans and my beloved Céline baby.
