Braided bun with kerastase

Here it is, the final part of our three Couture Styling looks is revealed here on Kayture! Today, I am delighted to share with you guys this ultra chic, gala ready, couture fashion week inspired braided bun hair tutorial that we shot in Paris with Kérastase a couple of months ago . This look was inspired by the usual chignon I like to pull out for red carpet events, and we added this awesome braid twist to it, making it much more interesting in terms of structure.

People who say that it takes several hours to get a proper Gala hair up do done well : I believe it can be done in five minutes if you have the creative idea, the hand and the right products. In this case, it’s the perfect on the go fix up you could do to transition from a busy day to a chic night out in a long evening or cocktail dress. It’s all about being chic but in an effortless way. There’s nothing more beautiful than that!

Feel free to recreate the step by step in this video with your own hands and your own gala touch! Again you can go crazy and do several breads before twisting them in the chignon, one big big one or two like we did here, that you can make a little messier in other to create a perfectly destructured bun! It’s up to you and how dramatic you want it to look. Make sure to listen carefully to the clip in order to know which Kérastase Couture styling products were used to achieve this look.
