New york fashion week

DAY IMy my, I can’t even explain how good it feels to be back in New York. This city has such a powerfull energy on me that I don’t even care how jet lagged I am… (well maybe I do care a little, especially since I’m dying to go to bed around 9pm). Today we enjoyed our very first fashion week day and the first show of the season : Nicholas K, a beautiful collection inspired by a native american style : very bohemian and effortless. I liked it. Then we had some meetings in town, such as with the Cavalli team on 5th Avenue where we shot these pictures. I am absolutely drop dead crazy about these dynamic streets, vivid colors, people everywhere, cabs rushing from one place to another. I mean, since I’m swiss, I’m not really used to this kind of extreme city activity, but I LOVE IT! Hmm the smell of gaz in the air ahh… Okay I’m joking here. That might now be the best part, but you get me right? New York it’s a whole package.

Our day ended up with the Candela presentation at Lincoln center, I absolutely loved the dresses which were super feminin and playfull. My outfit choice for the day was very simple : since it was the first day of fashion week I wanted to play it cool and not over do it. Also I really craved a comfy combo but yet, one that still pops out. So I mixed this amazing E-Vil shirt with some boyfriend jeans, a Stella McCartney clutch and Manolos for the chic touch : and there you go! My first NYFW look, casual chic and ready to run. It might not be my regular fashion week look as you guys might be used now seeing me strolling around in preppy girly dressed and 12cm heels, but I’m definitely aiming for something new and different this season. ”Less is more”
