GUCCI FOR CANNES While we were in Cannes for the film festival with Chopard, we had to enjoy a stay at the Five Seas hotel, which is a much more intimate spot than the big hotel block busters on the Croisette. Typical example, we saw Paris Hilton walking casually throughout the hall of the lobby and even met our favourite artist of the moment while checking in, I am talking about Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk. James and I have been admiring him for quite a while now. So it’s definitely a spot that I suggest as it is perfectly located (1minute away from the ”Palais des Festivals”) and quality reputation.

It also beneficiates of the most awesome rooftop ever where you can sip a cocktail and enjoy a little swim. Now, I understood quite well that, in Cannes you can really dare to wear. I mean, you don’t have to think about whether your outfit’s over the top or not, you just go for it and it’s definitely the occasion to go for a long dress. So that’s what I did. This amazing Gucci dress (which I think really does look like an art piece) was meant to be worn for the red carpet, it ended up to be another pick as James and I thought that this one would fit better for the AmFar after party (which ended up to be cancelled because of the wind) and Chopard dinner.
